For over two decades, the Piscataquis River Festival has been a vibrant source of food, entertainment, and community engagement for the residents of Guilford, Maine, and beyond. This year, the festival committee has grown larger than ever, determined to produce the most extensive and exceptional event possible. We anticipate an increased number of sponsors, vendors, activities, food, and music, but to ensure its complete success, we urgently need your help.

This event is not just for the Town of Guilford; it’s a celebration of our shared humanity, our kindness, and our friendly spirit. It’s an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the Piscataquis River and the serene natural landscapes of the Maine Highlands.

The Piscataquis River Festival is open to everyone, and to make it a resounding success, we need your participation. We are asking everyone to donate at least two hours of their day on July 26th to make this magnificent event happen. High school students, in particular, are encouraged to contribute community service hours by signing up. Once the schedule is finalized, we’ll email all our volunteers, allowing them to select the various windows of event-day activities that require their assistance.
